Why nano? And why distillate?
Because it's the best.
There are other kinds of CBD.
There's CBD crude oil, which contains excess fats, waxes, and lipids. Sometimes it has a strong taste that includes the bitter taste of chlorophyll from the plant material. It's also possible that some chemicals used for extraction can be left behind in the oil.
There's also hemp seed oil. If you see a product that promises very high milligrams at a very low price, it could be hemp seed oil. Hemp seed oil is great, if you mix it with vinegar and put it in your salad -- but it's made from the seeds, not the flower, and contains zero CBD.
There's also isolate, which is CBD in its purest form. It's only CBD. Isolate has no taste and can be mixed with almost anything, including drinks and foods, without causing a hemp taste. It's cheaper, and extremely popular. If you come across a very low price for CBD, it's probably isolate.
Isolate doesn't contain the minor cannabinoids that work along with the CBD to provide what's called the entourage effect.
The entourage effect describes the way the various cannabinoids work together, with the CBD -- which makes it more effective.
We're big fans of the entourage effect, which is why we carry products that are made with full or broad spectrum nano emulsified distillate.
Distillate is further refined to remove the plant material but still contains the beneficial minor cannabinoids and terpenes -- and thus, provide the benefits of the entourage effect.
Nano takes it one step further.
